Shock absorption (ANSI)

In the event of impact, the 8-point harness design is capable of improving distribution of force over the entire head to reduce damage caused by the impact. 4 cones have been placed along the joints of the helmet harness and shell to absorb a portion of the incoming forces and provide the user with greater protection against impacts.

ANSI Z89.1 Class E (Electrical)
Class E helmets are intended to reduce the danger of contact with higher voltage conductors. The helmets are proof-tested at 20,000 volts (phase to ground). This voltage is not intended as an indication of the voltage at which the helmet protects the wearer.
